Sea World

We had a wonderful time on our first real family vacation to San Antonio. We arrived on Thursday night and spent our evenings with Lorie and her family. They were so hospitable and gracious to allow us to stay for so many days!

We decided to do our vacation in May for a few reasons. Lorne had to take days off work anyway, and we decided that the weather would be much more pleasant in May than August, for example.

Our first day was spent at Sea World. The kids had a really good time. They were probably the least impressed with the shows I think. It was difficult to time because if we got there too early we had to try and entertain the kids. If we got there too late we ran the risk of not having a seat.

Chloe lasted in Lorne's lap for about two seconds!

Same with Sawyer.

Chloe was patiently waiting for the show to begin.

I was terrified of the cargo net, but I didn't want the kids to know, so away we went!

Chloe got into the tube and wouldn't move. She wasn't scared, she just took up residence and the other kids couldn't get around her.

The kids were entranced by the show.

This was the best of all the shows we saw.

Sawyer kept referring to the whale as "Shampoo." It was so cute!

The kids really enjoyed their picnic lunch in the Tahoe.

What a sweaty kid!

I was so honored that Sawyer chose me to ride his first rollercoaster with him.

Chloe was not impressed with the "sharks" in the tank.

The kids really played well together, especially considering that they were together for four days!
