D-Day Apparently Not THE Day
I didn't go into labor today, but had an exciting day nonetheless. I met my friend Kristy and her daughter Caroline for lunch at Chili's in Wylie. We usually meet at On The Border in Rockwall, but I told Kristy that I thought I shouldn't wander too far off since today WAS my due date and all. Rockwall is about thirty minutes away. It's also in Rockwall county and Lorne's banned me to Collin county only pretty much. She and Caroline got the baby the Barnyard Friends Peek-A-Blocks. I don't know if the baby will like these, but I absolutely LOVE them. He got the Alphabet Peek-A-Blocks from Denise. They are just the cutest toys!
When we were leaving I got into the Camry and it wouldn't start. Luckily she was following me to our house so she hadn't left yet. I rode home with her and called Lorne. Then I called the manager at Chili's to tell him about my car so that it wouldn't get towed. I figured it was fine, but I wanted to know for sure. Lorne and I went back when he got home from work. He jumped it off but it wouldn't start again once we got it home so we had to get another battery. They tested the old one at Wal-Mart and it was dead so at least we know it's not the alternator or something major. It's crazy that it's already dead because we've had the car for two years, two months, and a day, not that I've kept track or anything. :) Of all the times to only have one car this is not one of them so I'm glad that it's up and running again.
On the baby front, I go back to the doctor in the morning so I'll have a cervix report for those of you who are interested. :) I'm hoping to have more to report than I did last week.
I heard good news from Matthew today. He gave Jackie a promise ring this weekend. How exciting! Everyone in the family really loves Jackie and we've loved getting to know her and enjoy spending time with her. I may have another sister-in-law soon!

Aunt Kelly,
I also agree with Nana, and Mrs. Pat. I know that you'll be a great Mom because you've been a great aunt to Tyler, Jordan, and me. We can't wait to see ya'll. Love you!
