Our Waterbaby Sawyer

Sawyer finished his swimming lessons in grand style. His favorite part was jumping in from the side of the pool. He never got the hang of it while standing, but I would sit him on the side, grab him, and dunk him under and he loved it! That was pretty crazy considering that he hated floating on his back and stomach and most of the other skills he learned over the nine day period.

Lorne and I took him to our neighborhood pool last weekend and we had so much fun! It was funny to watch he and Lorne in the water together. I had been so careful with him during the lessons, only putting him underwater when the instructor told us, and holding him very tightly. Lorne was playing around with him so differently from what I did, but Sawyer still had a blast! We stayed for about thirty minutes. Right before we left I was sitting on the side of the pool and throwing Sawyer to Lorne in the water. He couldn't stop laughing!

Laura was pretty far away with the camera, so I don't think the kids knew where to look.
