Sawyer's Second Christmas

Sawyer's second Christmas began at Nana and Poppa's house. He played with his Santa gifts while stealing bites of pig-in-a-blanket from Nana. We opened stockings and then began opening gifts. He was kind of excited about that for a while, but when he started to fuss we decided that he wanted more breakfast. He ate in his booster seat while we opened our gifts.

Here's a close-up of the little man. Mimi got he and Kayla matching outfits for Christmas.

Sawyer really enjoys listening to us play his xylophone.

Sawyer's next stop was Uncle Matthew and Aunt Jackie's house. We had seafood for lunch, opened gifts, and had a great time. We really missed Dad and Aunt Tisha, but I think that we made the best of it. Sawyer walked around in his Elmo Tool Belt for most of the afternoon. He also wore some red cowboy boots of Kayla's so he was quite a sight.

This is the cross-stitch that I sewed for Kayla.

Lorne seems to always have this affect on Kayla. It's too funny!

Sawyer had a blast helping everyone open their presents.

Sawyer loves his Elmo Tool Belt. He has gotten really good at taking out and then replacing all of the tools. Thanks Uncle Mark and Aunt Darbi!

Sawyer's next stop was back to Nana and Poppa's. Uncle Ty, Aunt Jamie, Brittany, Tyler, and Jordan came for supper and to open gifts. We had chicken spaghetti, manicotti, bread, and salad. We played Trivial Pursuit after opening gifts. Sawyer once again enjoyed opening the presents.

Sawyer got the Elmo Giggle Chair from Uncle Ty and Aunt Jamie and their kids. He really enjoys using it to climb onto other objects too.
