Gingerbread House

The kids decorated their gingerbread house today. Part of me wanted to make it all perfect, and use my Wilton tips and decorating bags, but I wanted it to look like the kids actually made it themselves. I think that I got my wish! They did great!

We took out the gumballs and added M&Ms (the kids' favorite), and it's a wonder that there's any candy on the house at all. I just let them eat as much as they wanted, because it's not every day that they decorate a gingerbread house.

Sawyer got a dose of his own medicine because Chloe wasn't listening when he told her not to eat the candy. That was her favorite part of the decorating!
