An Evening at Aunt Net's

Aunt Net invited us over while we were in Van Vleck for our early Christmas. We got into town a little early so that we could drive around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. We also stopped at the Richmond State School on the way back to Van Vleck to see their Christmas display.

We had some yummy chicken salad, fruit, veggies, and Aunt Net's famous stuffed mushrooms. Tracy baked some sugar cookies and had sprinkles and icing so that the kids could decorate. Sawyer was very entertained by all of Uncle Greg's policeman paraphernalia. Uncle Greg even had a policeman stop by so that Sawyer could check out his police car. We made sure to talk about the importance of staying in our car seat so that Mommy doesn't get in trouble with the police. That has been a big issue with him lately so I told him Mommy could get a ticket if he doesn't stay in his seat.

A good time was had by all!

Tracy had some super cute antlers for the kids.

Sawyer stayed put until he decorated all the cookies.

Sawyer really got a kick out of his badge and flashlight.

Sawyer even got to sit in a real police car.

I grabbed a picture while we were outside checking out the police car.
